R Serial # 054217. 7.62x54Rmm caliber bolt action rifle with a 29” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean and shiny with strong rifling. Round receiver rifle made at the Izhevsk Arsenal in 1943. Import marked on the receiver. The black arsenal finish on the barrel and receiver is in very good condition showing light muzzle/edge wear with scattered scratches. The black metal finish on the magazine housing shows light edge wear and scratches. Original military sights. The hardwood stock and handguard are in good condition showing light marks with moderate to heavy finish wear. There are arsenal repairs at the nose. Steel butt plate. The numbers appear to be all matching. The cleaning rod is present. The action works fine. C&R.
