R Serial # E2132. 6.5x52mm Carcano caliber bolt action rifle with an 18” barrel. The bore is very good, mostly clean with strong rifling with light frosting/fouling in the grooves. Initially produced from 1892-1918, production was resumed in 1937 until 1940 at the Beretta Arsenal. This rifle was made at the Beretta Arsenal in 1937. Distinctive folding spike bayonet. Import marks on the underside of the barrel. The blued finish on the barrel and receiver is in good to very good condition showing edge wear and thinning with scattered scratches. The blued metal finish on the magazine housing/trigger guard shows edge wear and scratches. The plain walnut stock and handguard are in very good military condition showing scattered light dings and scratches with finish wear. The stock number is illegible. The bolt is not numbered. The action works fine. Requires a loading clip which is included. C&R.
