R Serial # 96424. .303 British caliber bolt action rifle with a 25” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. Made by RFI Ishapore in 1963. Detachable 10 round magazine. This rifle has been modified to launch grenades, it has been strengthened by wrapping wire around the hand guards. A grenade launcher has been attached to the muzzle. The rifle is mis-matched. The metal finish on the barrel, receiver and barrel bands is worn to near bare metal. The black finish on the trigger guard shows heavy wear. The plain hardwood forearm, hand guards and butt stock are in good condition showing dings, scratches and finish wear along with soiling. There is an arsenal repair at the heel. Brass butt plate. The action works fine. Includes a Khaki web sling. C&R.
