Design: Central 16-petal chrysanthemum crest (Imperial seal) with Japanese inscriptions surrounding it.Denomination: 3 sen (clearly marked “3” in the lower left corner and “S” for sen in the lower right).Color: Reddish-brown / rose-brown.Series: Chrysanthemum (Kiku) definitive series, first issued in 1899 and continued with various printings into the early 1900s.Condition: Used, with a partial black cancel in the upper left corner. This matches the classic Meiji-era Chrysanthemum design rather than the earlier Old Koban series.CancelThe cancel is a partial black Japanese handstamp.
