Ceramic Miniature Oil Lamp – Pink Peony & Floral Motif, Footed Dual-Handled Base, Brass Burner & Matching Porcelain Shade Miniature ceramic oil lamp / kerosene lamp. Design/Subject: Victorian cottage or romantic traditional style featuring a low-profile, squat white ceramic font base resting on small integrated feet. The body features two stylized, upswept side handles accented with gold gilt trim on the tips, and is decorated on the front face with a vibrant multi-color floral bouquet headlined by large pink peonies or roses with yellow and blue accent blossoms. Outfitted with a classic threaded brass collar, a crown-style turn-knob wick raiser burner with a small wire-wheel handle, and a highly unique matching opaque white porcelain tapered shade that mimics a fabric lampshade silhouette with molded trim lines and a repeating floral transfer. Material: Glazed white ceramic/porcelain base and shade, with brass components. Features: Unlike the standard glass hurricanes seen on most miniature lighting, this piece stands out significantly due to its matching porcelain structured shade. The coordinating floral imagery on both the base and shade creates a highly unified, cohesive parlor-lamp look in a collectible miniature scale. Condition: Good vintage/pre-owned condition.
