Ruby Red Glass Miniature Oil Lamp – Traditional Concentric Ring Tiers, Aged Brass Burner & Clear Glass Hurricane Shade Miniature glass oil lamp / kerosene lamp. Design/Subject: Classic traditional style featuring a deep transparent ruby red glass font base. The squat, rounded font features a molded concentric ring tier design matching the style of classic mid-century miniature lighting. Outfitted with an aged brass collar, a crown-style turn-knob wick raiser burner with an ornate wire-wheel handle, and a pinched-neck clear glass hurricane chimney shade. Material: Transparent ruby red glass, clear glass chimney, and brass components. Features: The vibrant, striking ruby red glass font provides excellent visual weight and catches the light beautifully, contrasting sharply with the clear chimney. A timeless classic that fits seamlessly into collections focused on colored art glass, holiday displays, or traditional farmhouse decor. Condition: Good vintage/pre-owned condition. The ruby red glass base and clear chimney shade are structurally sound and completely free of major cracks or large chips, showing only typical minor surface wear and standard light factory roughness on the hidden bottom rim of the shade. The brass burner exhibits a nice, naturally darkened antique patina with light tarnish in the crevices. The internal fabric wick is present; the mechanical raiser function rotates smoothly, but the unit is otherwise untested for burning functionality. Display: Low-profile, highly stable flat-bottomed circular base footprint. A wonderful addition to a miniature lighting collection, vintage glassware showcase, or cozy mantel display.
