Cobalt Blue Glass Miniature Oil Lamp – Traditional Concentric Ring Tiers, Brass Burner & Matching Hurricane Shade Miniature glass oil lamp / kerosene lamp. Design/Subject: Classic traditional style featuring a matching transparent cobalt or medium blue glass font base and hurricane chimney shade. The low, rounded font base displays a molded concentric ring tier design, identical in styling to the green, amber, and clear glass variants from this collection series. Outfitted with a bright brass collar, a crown-style turn-knob wick raiser burner with a small wire-wheel handle, and a pinched-neck blue glass hurricane chimney shade with a smooth top rim. Material: Transparent blue glass and brass components. Features: A beautiful, quintessential example of mid-century miniature lighting imports. The rich blue glass catches ambient light exceptionally well, offering a bold splash of color that coordinates effortlessly with other colored art glass, farmhouse primitives, or rustic home decor displays. Condition: Good vintage/pre-owned condition. Both the blue glass base font and the matching chimney shade are intact and free of major structural cracks or large chips, showing only typical minor surface scuffs and standard factory micro-roughness along the hidden bottom edge of the shade. The brass burner is clean and bright with only minimal natural tarnish in the recessed crown details. The internal fabric wick is present; the mechanical raiser function rotates smoothly, but the unit is otherwise untested for burning functionality. Display: Low-profile, highly stable flat-bottomed circular base footprint. A wonderful addition to a miniature lighting collection, vintage glassware showcase, or an accent piece on a sunlit window sill or shelf.
