Gilt-Accent Ceramic Miniature Oil Lamp – Novelty Aladdin / Genie Lamp Silhouette, Rose Motif, Brass Burner & Milk Glass Shade Description Item: Miniature ceramic oil lamp / kerosene lamp. Design/Subject: Elegant Victorian-revival parlor style featuring a white ceramic font base uniquely shaped in a stylized Aladdin or "Genie" lamp silhouette. The body features swept side wings/handles accented with fine gold gilt pinstripe borders along the edges and foot. The front face is decorated with a romantic transfer-print or hand-painted soft pink rose floral motif with green leaves. Outfitted with a threaded brass collar, a crown-style turn-knob wick raiser burner with a small wire-wheel handle, and an opaque white milk glass hurricane chimney shade featuring a ruffled top rim. Material: Glazed white ceramic/porcelain base, white milk glass chimney shade, and brass components. Features: The classic Aladdin lamp form gives this piece a highly distinct profile compared to vertical fonts, offering a lower center of gravity and excellent vintage display presence. A charming crossover collectible for miniature lighting collectors, cottagecore enthusiasts, or novelty porcelain decorators. Condition: Good vintage/pre-owned condition. The ceramic font base is structurally sound and free of cracks, chips, or significant crazing, showing only typical minor shelf wear on the bottom edge and minimal fading to the gold gilt trim. The milk glass ruffled chimney shade is intact with clean lines and standard light factory roughness on the hidden bottom fitting edge. The brass burner is bright with light natural tarnish in the recessed areas. An internal fabric wick is present; the mechanical adjustment turn-knob turns smoothly, but the unit is otherwise untested for burning functionality. Display: Stable, flared oval pedestal base footprint. A lovely addition to a miniature lamp collection, Victorian vanity layout, or antique porcelain display hutch.
