Vintage Clear Glass Miniature Oil Lamp – Novelty Victorian Boot / Old Shoe Motif, Metal Burner & Hurricane Shade Description Item: Miniature glass oil lamp / kerosene lamp. Design/Subject: Novelty figural style featuring a molded clear glass font base shaped like a vintage high-top boot or laced shoe. The glass features raised molded details depicting stitching, eyelets, and sole lines. Outfitted with a dark aged metal/brass collar, a turn-knob wick raiser burner, and a classic pinched-neck clear glass hurricane chimney shade. Material: Clear glass base and chimney with brass/composition metal components. Features: The whimsical "old shoe" shape makes this a highly collectible novelty crossover piece, appealing to collectors of vintage miniature lighting, figural glass bottles, and Victoriana style decor. The clear glass base allows the internal wick to be completely visible. Condition: Good vintage/pre-owned condition. The glass shoe font and clear chimney are free of major cracks, large chips, or structural breaks, showing only standard light surface wear and minor manufacturing rough edges on the rims of the chimney shade. The metal burner shows a dark, naturally aged patina consistent with age. Internal fabric wick is present; the mechanical raiser turn-knob moves but the unit is otherwise untested for burning functionality. Display: Stable molded base shaped like the sole of the boot.
