Cobalt Blue Glass Miniature Oil Lamp Umbrella

Updated August 7, 2026

Cobalt Blue Glass Miniature Oil Lamp – Molded Panels / Umbrella Flute Motif, Brass Burner & Matching Hurricane Shade Description Item: Miniature glass oil lamp / kerosene lamp. Design/Subject: Elegant traditional style featuring a molded cobalt blue glass font base with an eye-catching paneled, fluted, or "umbrella" umbrella-like shape that tapers down to a starburst or multi-point base footprint. Outfitted with a classic brass collar, a turn-knob wick raiser burner, and a matching pinched-neck cobalt blue glass hurricane chimney shade. Material: Cobalt blue glass and brass components. Features: Deep, rich cobalt blue coloration that heavily catches and refracts ambient light through the molded vertical geometric panels. The compact, classic silhouette makes it a highly sought-after shape for miniature lighting enthusiasts. Condition: Good vintage/pre-owned condition. The glass chimney and paneled font base are free of structural cracks or large breaks, showing only standard light surface wear and minor manufacturing flea bites on the raw, unfinished rims of the chimney shade. The brass burner shows a light natural aged patina. The internal wick is present, and the turn-knob raiser function moves smoothly but is otherwise untested for burning functionality. Display: Hexagonal/paneled base design provides stable placement. A beautiful addition to any miniature oil lamp collection, colored art glass shelf, or vintage lighting showcase.
