A color etching and aquatint on paper titled Eau tranquille, depicting a pastoral landscape with a rustic mill and waterwheel situated by a stream. The print is signed Pierre in pencil in the lower right margin and titled in pencil in the lower left. The number 308 and a circular monogram stamp for Sidney Z. Lucas (SLZ) are present in the lower left margin. Along the upper right edge of the plate mark is the printed text © Paris Etching Society NY-USA. The work is presented in a decorative carved wooden frame with a light finish and a double-matted border. Dimensions: Frame approx. H 19.25 inches x W 15.25 inches. Condition: The paper and mat show evidence of age-related toning. Visible foxing is present, primarily in the upper margin of the print. The frame exhibits minor surface wear and small scuffs.
