Featured is an Imperial German ammunition pouch constructed from smooth brown leather with heavy reinforced perimeter stitching. The distinctive elongated body features a rounded top flap flanked by prominent side dust wings, securing via a stitched vertical leather strap and a single metal roller buckle. The flat reverse panel features a stitched leather belt loop assembly designed to interface with standard military field equipment. Measuring 14 inches high by 8 inches wide, the interior compartment reveals a handwritten black ink marking resembling a stylized letter configuration or unit stamp on the back wall. The item displays generalized surface patina, superficial scuffing, and minor edge wear consistent with age. BP
