Featured is a vertical combat gear pouch constructed from olive green cotton canvas, designed for the West German Bundeswehr. The fold-over top flap incorporates two integrated canvas pull-tabs fitted with gray-painted metal snap fasteners. The flat reverse panel features two horizontal canvas web loops securely stitched near the upper and lower edges for mounting onto a standard equipment belt. Stamped directly onto the raw canvas interior of the upper flap is the lowercase maker mark "jth", a German defense contractor code. Measuring 7.5 inches wide by 10.0 inches high and 2.5 inches deep, the utilitarian design provided infantrymen with compartmentalized storage for field accessories. The piece displays a crisp canvas texture with minor storage folding and light oxidation to the inner snap hardware. p
