This early SA (Sturmabteilung) bread bag is constructed of mustard-yellow canvas and measures 13 x 12 inches. It retains its three upper belt attachment loops with metal snap fasteners, leather closure tab, internal leather reinforcement tabs, and metal button studs for securing the flap. The interior is clearly stamped "SA-Brigade Leipzig," identifying issue or organizational use by an SA unit in Leipzig prior to the standardization of Wehrmacht field equipment. The bag exhibits honest period use with scattered soiling, discoloration, and light wear to the canvas and leather components, while remaining structurally sound with crisp markings. A desirable named organizational example of an early Third Reich SA field equipment item. PM
