This lot contains ten circular uniform buttons from the Imperial German Navy (Kaiserliche Marine) era. Silver-Toned Buttons: 10 die-struck, silver-finished white metal buttons, typically worn by lower ranks or for specific dress orders. One example (bottom row, second from left) is oriented differently, displaying the anchor horizontally. Gilt Brass Button: A single gold-washed brass button (bottom right) featuring the same anchor design, typically reserved for officers or petty officers. All ten buttons measure approximately 1" in diameter and feature a traditional raised fouled anchor motif enclosed within a multi-tiered rope border. The reverse sides carry the stamped Assmann & Söhne manufacturer hallmark alongside the quality notation "Feuervergoldung" (fire-gilded). The collection shows typical age-related surface patination, minor tarnishing to the silver finish, and light handling wear, but all integrated rear attachment shanks remain intact. B
