This Imperial-era commemorative award was issued by the Prussian State Veterans Association (Preußischer Landes-Kriegerverband). The multi-piece construction features a silvered oak leaf wreath at the top enclosing the number "25" beneath a gilded depiction of the Kyffhäuser Monument. Suspended below is a beautifully detailed enamel shield showcasing the traditional Prussian crowned black eagle holding a scepter and orb against a white ground. The medal hangs from a black and white woven silk ribbon printed with Fraktur script reading "Landes-Kriegerverband," finished with decorative fringed metal end caps. The reverse is fitted with a standard brooch mounting pin. The piece shows minor gilt loss and typical ribbon toning consistent with age, while the enamel remains exceptionally clean.
