This openwork metal and enamel award features a prominent green enameled Maltese cross superimposed over a circular oak leaf wreath. The central white enamel medallion showcases crossed rifles, a target, and oak leaf sprigs, identifying it as a German shooting society (Schützenverein) prize. Stamped details on the gilt-tone reverse read "SCHÜTZENKÖNIG HEINRICH TIVES 1929/30," identifying the winner and the 1929–1930 competition period. The reverse displays a maker's mark for a manufacturer in Krefeld alongside extensive, crude solder repairs reinforcing a vertical pin-back attachment mechanism. The piece measures 2" in diameter and exhibits visible tarnish, enamel scratches, and oxidation consistent with age.
