This group features three distinct twentieth-century commemorative medallions. The first is a bronze French World War I Victory Medal designed by A. Morlon, featuring a winged figure on the obverse and a reverse inscribed for the Great War. It measures 1 1/3" in diameter. The second is a 1945 US military occupation souvenir medal displaying the American eagle on one side and the Munich Frauenkirche church motif inscribed as Maiden Church on the reverse. It measures 1 1/3" in diameter. The final piece is a brass medal featuring an attached enameled heraldic crest with a crowned eagle and a three-part shield detailed in red, black, white, and gold, showing a blank reverse with older solder residue, it measures 1 3/4" in diameter. All three pieces exhibit surface wear, scratches, oxidation, and missing suspension ribbons. B
