This green fabric-bound album features a silver-stamped Wehrmacht eagle and the unit designation for the 4th Machine Gun Company, Infantry Regiment 64, measures 7.5" x 10.5". The interior title page opens to the script "Erinnerungen an meine Wehrdienstzeit." Inside, clear black-and-white photographs (154) document military exercises, featuring Panzer I tanks, half-tracks, heavy artillery crews, anti-aircraft weaponry, and searchlights. The pages include images of a female labor service group, field maneuvers, and off-duty leisure activities with accordions. Travel photographs highlight a visit to the Cologne Cathedral and a river cruise, alongside equestrian scenes showing soldiers during horse jumping exercises and a fox hunt. Some photographs in this album may be vintage photographic copies rather than original copies. The entire collection remains well-preserved on thick grey card stock. SW
