This grey-green cloth album features a silver-stamped national eagle and the designation for the 1st Company, 37th Replacement Battalion. It provides a visual record of military service commencing in 1936 at Weiden. The opening page contains a formal portrait of the soldier next to commemorative German script. Inside, black-and-white photographs depict full company formations, barracks interiors, off-duty moments, and physical training. Additional pages document a unit excursion to Budapest, Hungary, in June 1936, alongside high-altitude winter ski maneuvers. Several prints feature handwritten dates and locations on the mounting pages. Total of 166 black and white pictures. Some photographs in this album may be vintage photographic copies rather than original copies. The binding and pages display minor wear consistent with handling, while the contents remain complete.
