Featuring black Bakelite earpieces and an adjustable spring-metal headband, this WWII-era German Luftwaffe communications headset is marked "Üf.H," "Ln 127010," and “4000 O." The high-impedance headset includes pivoting earpieces, projecting metal adjustment arms, textile-covered wiring, and an attached two-pin plug. The “Ln" equipment designation is consistent with Luftwaffe communications nomenclature. Condition shows expected age and service wear, including scratches, surface oxidation, finish loss, and wear to the Bakelite, metal fittings, and textile-covered cord. Each earpiece measures approximately 3 inches in diameter, the projecting adjustment arms measure approximately 1.5 inches, and the cord is approximately 42 inches long. Untested; functionality is unknown.
