This collection consists of ten authentic Winterhilfswerk (WHW) wooden donation tokens from the 1942–1943 winter campaign, each hand-crafted in the Erzgebirge region. These painted wood miniatures were issued as part of the German state-run "Winter Relief" program, highlighting the involvement of Erzgebirge’s traditional toy makers. The lot includes a rare oversized Chick, a Rocking Horse, a Pickelhaube-style Sentry, and classic figures such as an Angel, Gnome, King, and Chimney Sweep. All tokens show substantial service patina, with heavy paint flaking and wood exposure, especially notable on the snowman and rocking horse. Several retain original hanging threads.
