This 10.5 by 7.5-inch beige linen-bound commemorative album was produced in the 1930s for members of the Sturmabteilung (SA). The cover features a striking raised silver-finish National Eagle insignia. A "textbook" authentic example of Third Reich period stationery, the album retains its original title page and a portrait of Adolf Hitler by the official photographer Heinrich Hoffmann. The 20 internal pages are currently filled with 123 reproduction photographs comprehensively documenting SA rallies, field maneuvers, and leadership portraits. Most significantly, this pristine example includes its rare original protective cardboard slipcase/sleeve and bears the retail stamp of the famous Haus der Bücher bookstore in Leipzig. The condition is museum-grade, showing virtually no handling wear to the linen or the cord binding. OT
