This original World War II-era photo album documents the service of a member within the German Heer (Army), with a clear focus on Artillery and Motorized units. The gray textured cover is decorated with a silver-embossed Stahlhelm (steel helmet) and a Wehrmacht eagle above the Fraktur title Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit (In Memory of my Service Time). Measuring 9" x 12.5", the album contains 66 original black-and-white photographs across 25 pages. The collection features exceptional visual documentation of heavy field equipment, including artillery pieces in various stages of deployment and soldiers engaged in technical maneuvers. Accompanying these are scenes from the Motorcorp (Kraftfahrtruppe), highlighted by motorcycles with sidecars and transport vehicles. The album is further enhanced by three original, blank 1940s postcards featuring the artwork of Wolfgang Willrich, Walter Gotschke, and Ferdinand Barlog. The binding and interior pages remain in excellent condition, providing a specialized look into the mechanized and heavy weapons divisions of the era. OT
