This exceptionally clean and authentic WWII German Army (Heer) photo album documents a soldier's service during the early years of the Eastern Front campaign. Housed in its original 9.5" x 9.5" blue cloth binding with white gothic "Kriegs-Erinnerungen" title, the album contains 107 original black-and-white photographs across 20 pages. The imagery is of superior quality, featuring rare combat-related subjects including a captured Soviet heavy tank, a Henschel Hs 126 observation plane, and various motorized transport columns. The collection balances these with candid shots of barracks life, winter field deployments, and group portraits of NCOs. All photos are professionally mounted with decorative serrated edges and retain excellent contrast. The album is complete with its original cream-colored cord binding. OT
