Three East German National People's Army (NVA) winter hats, known as "Ushankas." Each hat is constructed from synthetic fleece-like material in characteristic gray-green color, with a prominent silver-colored metal badge featuring a red star, cogwheel, and national emblem, mounted on the front. The hats show interior lining in different shades, possibly indicating use by various NVA service branches. The inside is marked "100% Polyester" and "Made in East Germany." These hats were standard issue for East German military personnel during the Cold War era, providing warmth in winter conditions. Badges and general hat condition appear intact with visible light wear. GE
