This original WWII German Heer reversible winter parka is constructed of heavyweight cotton and features Sumpftarn (Swamp Camouflage) on one side with a white snow camouflage finish on the reverse for seasonal concealment. The parka is designed with an integral hood, full button-front closure, adjustable waist drawstring retaining its original camouflage cord, and flapped slash pockets accessible from both sides. The reversible construction reflects the practical cold-weather clothing issued to German Army personnel during the later years of the war. The garment remains complete and structurally sound, displaying light service wear, scattered soiling to the white side, and minor age-related wear consistent with wartime use. It is a desirable example of late-war German winter camouflage clothing. Measures approximately 46" chest (23" flat) SC
