This 15-inch doll by Schoenau & Hoffmeister (Schoenau Hoffmeister Porzellanfabrik Burggrub) features a porcelain head and a jointed leather body. The doll has a fixed sleepy eye mechanism that is now fixed open, open mouth with visible teeth, and retains its original mohair wig per current owner, restyled with married clothing. The body is articulated at the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees, with metal button joints and visible expected wear consistent with age. Hands and head are porcelain. Some age-related marks, stable joints, and wear evident on the leather portions and clothing. **Shipping Notice: Due to the delicate nature of the doll's sleep eye mechanism, any shipped doll will arrive with the wig and skull cap removed, and the eyes secured to help minimize the risk of damage during transit.
