A large bisque porcelain sculpture depicting a group of dolphins leaping in a dynamic, circular arrangement. The piece is constructed from unglazed, matte white porcelain, capturing anatomical details of the five sea animals. The sculpture is marked on the underside with the Lorenz Hutschenreuther factory backstamp featuring the circular lion logo and text reading LORENZ HUTSCHENREUTHER GERMANY KUNSTABTEILUNG. It is titled DOLPHINS by followed by a facsimile signature of artist Gunther Granget and is designated as LIMITED EDITION NO 472 of 500. The artist's name G. GRANGET is also incised on the base of one dolphin's tail.Height: 14 inchesLength: 25 inches.The sculpture is in excellent condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or professional repairs to the delicate fins or tails. The matte porcelain surface is clean and lacks significant scuffing or discoloration.
