A large bisque porcelain sculpture of the show jumping mare Halla, designed by Gunther Granget for the Hutschenreuther Kunstabteilung. The figurine depicts the horse in a trotting gait with the front right leg raised, standing on a rectangular base with a textured surface. The sculpture shows anatomical detail including defined musculature and a flowing tail. The underside of the base features a green factory backstamp with a lion emblem and 1814 surrounded by Hutschenreuther Germany and Kunstabteilung. Additional markings on the underside include Halla, Gunther Granget, No 210, and Begrenzte Auflage 500 Stuck. The top of the textured base displays an incised signature for Gunther Granget. Two labels are present on the underside: a paper tag numbered 145/1626 and a gold foil label from Lorenz Hutschenreuther Kunstabteilung numbered 3049/10.Height: 16.5 inchesBase Length: 15.75 inches.This figurine is in excellent condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The white bisque surface is clean throughout.
