A group of three graduated pewter pitchers, each crafted in a traditional baluster form with a flared spout and a plain S-scroll handle. The vessels are of cast construction and display a characteristic dull, dark grey patina. The largest vessel features an incised number 139 and a struck mark consisting of a crown above an oval containing the letters A and B within a scrolled border, a mark associated with mid-20th-century Italian Peltro ware. The medium pitcher bears a mark showing a cluster of grapes within a shield above the letters R M I. The smallest pitcher is marked with a rampant animal within a circle and a stylized orb containing the letter S within an oval. Dimensions (measured against a tape measure in inches): Large Jug: H approx. 8.5 inches Medium Jug: H approx. 6.5 inches Small Jug: H approx. 5 inches. Condition: The set is in good overall condition with a uniform patina throughout. There are light surface scratches and minor scuffs consistent with age and moderate use. A small spot of orange surface residue is visible on the body of the largest jug. No visible dents or structural repairs.
