A stylised hand-blown art glass figurine of a rooster, featuring a solid red glass head, comb, and wattle. The body is constructed using the sommerso technique, with a green core containing silver-coloured foil inclusions, encased in clear glass. The exterior of the body is decorated with an applied black glass trailed trellis pattern and contains several embedded multi-coloured millefiori canes in shades of blue, red, and white. The figurine has applied clear glass wings and a clear glass tail with internal red and black trailing, pulled into four distinct points. The base retains a fragmentary and illegible circular paper label with green printing on a white background. Height: approx. 22.2 cm (only inches shown on tape measure) Length: approx. 15.2 cm (only inches shown on tape measure). Condition: The figurine is in generally good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or restoration. There are typical internal air bubbles consistent with hand-blown glass production. The paper label on the base is heavily degraded and largely illegible.
