A liqueur set crafted from smoky grey multifaceted cut glass, exhibiting a bold Art Deco geometric aesthetic. Attributed to Val Saint Lambert. The collection consists of a decanter, a matching faceted stopper, and five small glasses. The decanter is designed with a tapering octagonal body featuring deep-cut polished facets that create a play of light and varying density of colour. The matching stopper and glasses repeat this architectural form. The underside of the decanter base is hand-etched with the numerals 939. This set is attributed to the Montmartre pattern produced by Val Saint Lambert during the interwar period. Dimensions (measured from visible ruler): Decanter height (including stopper): approx 24.1 cm Glass height: approx 5.1 cm. Condition: The set is in good vintage condition. One glass has a significant chip to the upper rim. There is typical clouding and wear to the ground-glass joint of the neck and stopper. Minor surface scratches and shelf wear are present on the bases.
