A Royal Doulton glazed bone china figurine titled My Love, model number HN 2339. The figure depicts a seated young woman in eighteenth-century style dress, holding a single finely modelled red rose in her right hand. She wears a voluminous white gown decorated with gilded floral sprigs, with further gold-toned trim to the neckline, sleeve ruffles, and hairband. The base features a printed brown factory backstamp comprising a lion atop a crown within a circular mark for Royal Doulton, England. The mark includes the title, model number HN 2339, copyright date 1965, and registration numbers Rd No 921231, Rd No 47886, Rd No 10341, and Rd No 452/65. Small handwritten decorator marks are also present. Dimensions (measured against a ruler): Height approx. 16 cm, Width approx. 18 cm. Condition: The figurine is in generally good condition. There is a horizontal hairline crack or firing flaw visible on one of the front folds of the skirt. A few minor pinpoint firing specks are present under the glaze, consistent with the manufacturing process. The gilded decoration and the delicate petals of the rose appear to be intact.
