A deep cut crystal bowl executed in the American Brilliant Period style. The high-quality lead crystal body is decorated with a complex geometric pattern organised into vertical panels. These panels are defined by deep mitre cuts and contain alternating motifs, including large multi-point hobstars within circular medallions and triangular fields of fine strawberry diamond cutting. The upper section is finished with fan cuts leading to a deeply serrated sawtooth rim. The base features an intricately cut multi-point star. The glass displays high clarity and sharp, precise cutting throughout. Diameter approx. 20.3 cm (8 inches) Height approx. 9.5 cm (3.75 inches) (measured against a ruler). Condition: The bowl is in very good condition with no visible cracks or significant damage. The glass is clear and free from clouding. The serrated rim is largely intact, with no major chips, though minor nicks or 'fleabites' consistent with age and the nature of the cutting may be present upon close inspection.
