A group of three large machine-moulded glass jugs, commonly referred to as carboys or finger-handle jugs, in three distinct colourways: emerald green, deep olive-amber, and light amber. Each vessel features a cylindrical body with rounded shoulders and a short, narrow neck fitted with a small, integral finger-loop handle. The jugs exhibit prominent vertical mould seams extending from the base to the neck. The base of the deep olive-amber jug bears an embossed maker's mark consisting of a diamond shape containing a circle with a vertical bar, identifying the manufacturer as the Owens-Illinois Glass Company, with the numeral 1 embossed below. The bases are smooth and exhibit circular mould rings. Dimensions (measured against a ruler): Height approx. 31.8 cm Diameter approx. 16.5 cm. Condition: The carboys are in good vintage condition. All three jugs show significant accumulated surface dust and light surface scratches consistent with age and storage. The emerald green jug contains light internal residue. The deep olive-amber and light amber jugs retain their cork stoppers. No visible chips, cracks, or structural repairs are apparent.
