This Colonial Revival-style spool-turned bed, often referred to as a Jenny Lind style, is crafted from hardwood with a warm, medium-toned finish. The headboard features an arched top rail above a row of vertical spool-turned spindles, set between two posts topped with spherical ball finials. The footboard is designed with a horizontal top rail featuring disc and spool turnings, supported by vertical spindles and matching ball-top posts. The headboard and footboard are connected by brown-finished metal side rails. Included is a Simmons Beautyrest mattress and matching box spring, with the brand name woven into the mattress fabric in stylized script. Condition: The bed frame is in good vintage condition, exhibiting minor surface wear, scuffs, and small dings consistent with age and residential use. The mattress and box spring are clean in appearance. The structural integrity and internal condition of the bedding have not been tested.
