A collection of three wall decor items including two framed prints and a small arched wall mirror. The first print is a photomechanical reproduction on textured board after Jean-Honoré Fragonard's work A Young Girl Reading. The image depicts a young woman in profile wearing a yellow dress and reading a book. It is housed in a silver-finished ornate rococo-style frame with molded foliate and scrollwork decoration. The second print is a Victorian-era winter scene signed c.kiel in the lower right corner. The composition shows numerous figures in nineteenth-century attire ice skating on a frozen pond in front of a village tavern. It is double-matted with a marbled outer mat and set in a dark-stained wood frame with a gilded inner lip. The lot is completed by a small wall mirror with an arched wooden frame finished in brown paint. Approximate dimensions: Mirror height: 14.25 in Fragonard frame height: 15.25 in Winter scene frame width: 18 in. Condition: The two prints are in stable condition without apparent foxing or toning. The silver-finished frame shows light surface wear. The dark wood frame of the skating scene print exhibits minor nicks and abrasions at the corners. The mirror frame shows significant condition issues including large areas of chipped paint and loss to the gesso layer along the lower edges.
