Handle Button Hook Monogrammed 7-Inch. Crafted by premier American silversmith firm Unger Brothers during the late Victorian to turn-of-the-century era (c. 1890s–1905), this authentic 7-inch button hook features a textured, spiral-ridged sterling silver handle seamlessly joined to a steel hook tool. A classic 19th-century dressing table accoutrement highly coveted by silver and haberdashery collectors, the piece features a smooth engraved collar with an intricate script monogram and is stamped on the handle with the Unger Bros trademark logo, "STERLING", and catalog number "8.0". The item presents in original antique condition with a firm, structurally sound connection between the collar and hook, exhibiting age-appropriate wear such as natural tarnish in the handle's grooves, minor surface scuffing, and darkening, oxidation, and light pitting across the steel hook extension.
