Poster Rabbit Warstler Red Sox. Issued circa 1933–1935 during the National Recovery Administration (NRA) era, this original 14-by-20-inch newsstand window broadside poster was produced by the Boston Daily Record newspaper and features a dramatic monochrome halftone action photograph titled "Warstler Trapped." The caption documents a specific Major League Baseball play where Philadelphia Athletics player "Rabbit" Warstler was caught off first base by Boston Red Sox catcher Rick Ferrell and first baseman Eddie Morgan. Printed on newsprint paper with vibrant red typography highlights, the poster bears the newspaper's slogan "LAST MINUTE PHOTOS (CHANGED DAILY)" alongside dual NRA Eagle logos printed at the bottom corners, making it a rare and displayable piece of vintage baseball and sports ephemera. Presenting in good overall vintage condition with expected signs of age and light display wear, the piece retains completely legible printing while exhibiting light toning, age spots, original horizontal distribution fold lines, small edge tears, corner pinholes, minor margin wear, and a small dark mark near the left center edge.
