Plane Formation In-Flight RPPC Real Photo. This original World War II era Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) captures an exceptional air-to-air action photograph of two US Army Air Forces (USAAF) Republic P-47 Thunderbolt fighter aircraft flying in formation above a cloud bank. Featuring clear view of USAAF star insignias, fuselage tail numbers, and spinning propellers, air-to-air military photography from this period holds strong appeal for WWII aviation historians, military ephemera collectors, and RPPC enthusiasts. Publisher/photographer unattributed (official military or press photographic stock), estimated c. 1942–1945, silver gelatin real photo print on EKC postcard paper stock, marked with EKC stamp box on the unmailed reverse side, measures standard postcard size approximately 3.5 x 5.5 inches. Shows expected signs of age including faint paper toning on the back, subtle corner softening, and minor edge wear along the white border, though the contrast and aerial clarity of the photograph remain sharp and crisp; no major creases, tears, pinholes, or silver mirror oxidation observed. See photos for close-up details.
