Flag Tag MK 339 Ordnance. Dating to the 1960s–1980s, this original military ordnance warning flag tag measuring approximately 5.5 by 1.5 inches (including pin) was produced by a U.S. military ordnance contractor for use on a Mark 339 fuze system. Constructed from heavy woven cloth fabric securely stitched around an intact wire cotter pin attachment, the tag features stenciled instructional lettering reading "FOR USE ON MK 339 FUZE" alongside "WARNING / REMOVE SAFETY PIN AND... IS RACKED. REPLACE SAFETY... BEFORE OFF-LOADING." Serving as an authentic piece of 20th-century aviation ordnance and equipment ephemera for militaria and aviation collectors, the item presents in fair to good vintage condition, exhibiting age-appropriate wear including heavy edge fraying and unraveling, general paper/cloth toning, light surface staining, and minor fading to the stenciled text while remaining structurally complete.
