Hoi Safe Pass 1960s Ephemera. Issued circa 1968 by the Joint U.S. Public Affairs Office (JUSPAO) and Republic of Vietnam Armed Forces, this original historical lot consists of three Vietnam War psychological operations (PSYOP) air-dropped propaganda leaflets measuring between 6 by 3.5 inches and 6 by 9 inches. Printed in black-and-white ink on paper stock, the collection features a Chieu Hoi ("Open Arms") surrender pass displaying defector photographs with handwritten reverse text, a rocket-illustrated weapon-bounty reward leaflet, and a larger airstrike warning leaflet, bearing official print code numbers "SP-1182," "7-252-68," "7-494-68," and the Chieu Hoi symbol badge. Representing a compelling grouping of primary-source tactical propaganda for collectors of military paper, psychological warfare, and Vietnam War militaria, the leaflets present in very good overall vintage condition, maintaining bold, sharp, completely legible printing and handwritten annotations while exhibiting expected age-appropriate wear such as light paper toning, faint handling ripples, and minor edge wear.
