Children Book Litho Cover Ephemera. This scarce late 19th-century Victorian children's booklet cover titled "Robinson Crusoe" features dramatic chromolithograph artwork illustrating Daniel Defoe's classic adventure tale. The front cover depicts Robinson Crusoe dressed in his iconic furs, holding a musket beside his companion Friday kneeling on the tropical shore, carrying strong collector appeal for enthusiasts of classic 19th-century adventure literature, antique children's book illustration, chromolithography, and historical ephemera. Published by Hubbard Publishing Co. (from the matching series with works by Palmer Cox and E. Veale), copyrighted c. 1896, chromolithographed paper booklet cover, unmarked on the front margin, measures approximately 8 x 10.5 inches. Displays expected signs of age including uniform paper toning, faint edge creasing, minor corner softening, and tiny nicks along the outer margins, though the primary color lithography remains exceptionally bright, bold, and highly displayable; no major tears, heavy foxing, or loss of central printed illustration observed. See photos for close-up details.
