Member Pin Brooch Numbered. Rendered in sterling silver with gold wash accents, this official antique Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) member insignia pin (c. 1900s–1920s) measures approximately 0.75 inches in diameter and is attributed to J.E. Caldwell & Co. The face showcases the iconic DAR spinning wheel and flax motif in blue and white vitreous enamel encircled by thirteen stars representing the original American colonies, while the reverse is stamped "STERLING" and bears a hand-engraved member serial number ("84285"). Highly collectible as a piece of patriotic and lineage society history, this unsigned pin presents in good antique condition with a dark natural patina on the reverse, an intact and functional C-clasp, subtle wear to the gold-washed accents, and minor surface grime, pitting, and discoloration across the enamel face.
