NO SHIPPING ~ LOCAL PICKUP ONLY > Group of 5 vintage family board games, largely dating from the 1970s: SPLIT-LEVEL AGGRAVATION — Lakeside Games, 1971. A distinctive variation of the classic marble-race game using a raised, multi-level playing board. This version was marketed as adding a new dimension to the familiar Aggravation format and had a much shorter life than the standard edition, making the split-level version one of the more unusual vintage Aggravation issues. OPERATION SKILL GAME — Milton Bradley, model 4545. Classic battery-operated dexterity game in which players attempt to remove ailments from the patient without touching the metal edges and sounding the buzzer. The game was originally introduced in the mid-1960s and became one of Milton Bradley’s most recognizable skill games. This box represents a vintage issue. NOTE > Wire to prongs needs to be reconnected - Lacking the individual pieces. SCRABBLE — Selchow & Righter, traditional crossword word game in the familiar maroon box. The visible bright maroon woven-texture box style is associated with the 1971-1976 period, after Selchow & Righter acquired full ownership of Scrabble and before the 1976 rules revision. MONOPOLY side-panel treatment are characteristic of Parker Brothers editions from the 1970s. Monopoly remained one of Parker Brothers’ flagship titles during this period, with tens of millions of sets already sold by the middle of the decade. WHOSIT? — Parker Brothers, No. 50, vintage deduction or identity game featuring photographic character portraits on the box. This is one of the less commonly encountered Parker Brothers titles in the group and has added interest as a discontinued vintage game rather than one of the company’s continuously produced classics. Exact publication year is not confirmed from the visible box panel. The strongest collector-interest pieces in this group are likely the 1971 Split-Level Aggravation, the vintage Operation, and the less commonly encountered Whosit?, while the older Scrabble and Monopoly editions add broad nostalgic appeal. BOARD GAME DISCLAIMER > Games have not been inspected or inventoried to determine whether all pieces, cards, instructions, tokens or other components are present. Boxes exhibit varying degrees of wear, discoloration, edge wear, surface wear, splitting, crushing, staining and other elements consistent with age, storage, handling and the materials used in manufacture. Please review all photographs for contents and condition.
