NO SHIPPING ~ LOCAL PICKUP ONLY > Group of 7 vintage family board games, primarily dating from the 1960s through 1970s: TOURNAMENT BACKGAMMON — E.S. Lowe, model E4314. Vintage 1970s tournament-style backgammon set. E.S. Lowe marketed several Tournament Backgammon editions during the decade; documented Lowe issues date from 1973 forward. CONNECT FOUR ~ VERTICAL CHECKERS GAME — Milton Bradley, model 4430, introduced in 1974. Designed by Howard Wexler and Ned Strongin, Connect Four became one of Milton Bradley’s enduring strategy games, with players attempting to form four discs in a row horizontally, vertically or diagonally. PARCHEESI ~ ROYAL GAME OF INDIA — Selchow & Righter. This box style corresponds to the 1964 Gold Seal edition, model No. 2. Parcheesi was one of Selchow & Righter’s signature games and was based on the traditional Indian game Pachisi. CLUE — Parker Brothers, 1972 edition, model No. 45, for 3 to 6 players ages 8 to adult. This redesigned edition became one of the more recognizable vintage versions of the classic murder-mystery game and introduced design elements carried into later editions. AGGRAVATION ~ DELUXE PARTY EDITION — Lakeside Games, model 8321, released in 1970. Family race game for 2 to 6 players in which marbles or playing pieces travel around the board toward home while opponents can send one another back to start. SCRABBLE FOR JUNIORS ~ NEW WORDS EDITION THREE — Selchow & Righter. Vintage junior adaptation of the classic Scrabble word game, designed to introduce younger players to spelling and word formation. SCRABBLE SENTENCE GAME FOR JUNIORS — Selchow & Righter, 1973, an educational word and sentence-building game using a two-sided board, allowing younger players to match words while more advanced players construct their own sentences. A strong group of recognizable vintage titles with particular collector interest in the 1972 Parker Brothers CLUE, early 1974 CONNECT FOUR, 1964 PARCHEESI, Lakeside AGGRAVATION, and early Selchow & Righter educational Scrabble games.
