THE ADORATION OF THE MAGI — round fine-art puzzle reproducing the celebrated Renaissance painting by Fra Angelico and Fra Filippo Lippi from the National Gallery of Art, Samuel H. Kress Collection. KITTENS — Springbok Editions puzzle featuring artwork painted especially for Springbok by Girard Goodenow. HUNTING SCENE ~ A FAIENCE DISH — vintage round fine-art puzzle featuring a decorative hunting-scene design. KING TUTANKHAMUN — Eaton Treasure Collection jigsaw puzzle, more than 500 pieces, catalog No. 15-311-90. Egyptian archaeology and King Tut subject matter gives this example additional crossover appeal. THE MUPPETS — 1000-piece licensed Jim Henson puzzle featuring Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Animal and other familiar Muppet characters. GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS JIGSAW PUZZLE — Great American Puzzle Factory, 1976, over 550 pieces, with completed size shown as 18" x 24". An interesting vintage licensed puzzle tied to the enormously popular Guinness Book of World Records franchise. LYNDA CARTER IS WONDER WOMAN ~ CLASSIC POSE — American Publishing Corp. licensed 1978 television puzzle, 200 pieces, with completed size about 11" x 17". One of the stronger pop-culture collectibles represented in the group, with crossover appeal to Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter and 1970s television collectors. WORDS OF LOVE — Springbok jigsaw puzzle featuring a romantic sunset scene with verse attributed to William Shakespeare. SPRINGBOK WATER LILY LANDSCAPE — authentic Springbok puzzle, over 500 interlocking pieces, with completed size shown as 20-1/4" x 20-1/4". FULL SAIL — Eaton Treasure Collection sailing jigsaw puzzle, more than 500 pieces, with completed size 18" x 24", catalog No. 15-336-90. The strongest collector crossover pieces in the group appear to be the 1978 Lynda Carter Wonder Woman, 1976 Guinness Book of World Records, Muppets 1000-piece puzzle, King Tutankhamun Eaton Treasure Collection, and the older Springbok fine-art issues.
