AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Antique -4- piece manicure and grooming set featuring matching mother of pearl handles with silver tone metal fittings and working ends. The grouping includes a nail file ~ a long pointed manicure implement ~ a loop form grooming implement ~ and a curved tip manicure tool. Each piece is fitted with a shaped mother of pearl handle displaying natural iridescent variation through cream, silver and pale gold tones. The coordinated handles and specialized hand tools are characteristic of late 19th to early 20th century personal grooming sets, when mother of pearl was frequently used for higher quality vanity and manicure accessories. CONDITION REPORT > Age related surface wear and a degree of oxidation are evident to portions of some metal components.
