AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Three-piece Beatrix Potter collection including a vintage board game, hardcover book and unopened Crabtree & Evelyn Peter Rabbit soap. 1 > THE WORLD OF BEATRIX POTTER ~ PATHS AND BURROWS (OR SNAKES AND LADDERS) board game, produced in England by The Traditional Games Company Ltd. in 1988 under license from Frederick Warne & Co. The game is a Beatrix Potter adaptation of the traditional Snakes and Ladders format and features Potter's original watercolor imagery. The complete set includes the game board, four painted rabbit playing pieces, large wooden die, terracotta flowerpot dice shaker, Mr. McGregor sack and instructions. Contemporary descriptions note that the rabbit pieces were hand modeled and reproduced in stone and resin by English craftsmen. This example is complete. 2 > THE TALE OF MR. JEREMY FISHER by Beatrix Potter, Frederick Warne hardcover edition. The compact volume measures about 5.7 x 4.4 inches and contains 64 pages with Potter's original color illustrations. First published in 1906, the story follows Mr. Jeremy Fisher's memorable fishing expedition and is number seven among Potter's celebrated series of 23 small-format tales. This copy shows some age and handling wear. 3 > CRABTREE & EVELYN Beatrix Potter Collection ~PIERRE LAPIN~ soap, presented in the original illustrated box featuring Peter Rabbit. The soap weighs 95 grams / 3.3 ounces and remains unopened and unused in the original packaging. Together, the group brings together three different areas of Beatrix Potter collecting: illustrated children's literature, vintage British games and licensed Peter Rabbit decorative merchandise.
